It's a 1017km (11 hours) long journey to travel from Eindhoven in Netherlands to Chantemerle Saint Chaffrey, 05330, France ( 1 or 2 hours drive to the France's Southen port-Marseilles), where located the Maeva Clubhotel Serre Chevalier (#1419) that we booked for a week (21th to 28th, Dec) ski holiday from RCI Singapore. 
Though YL would like to find a hotel near St. Francois longchamp, France which his PE colleague booked, we found difficult to book a hotel there as they were fully booked until Jan, 2009.
Before we left, we filled up the gasoline tank and bought some foods, man & woman ski's shirts, broek (trousers) and special ski glasses in Eindhoven.
After all the things were packed and loaded on the car, the car was almost full. We started our journey at noon and YL drives continuously for 650km highway at over 130km/hr speed until we reached at Beauno on 7:30pm and rest in a B&B hotel with 3 beds for EU$34. It was small but good to have a bed for us to sleep well.

On our way, we went towards Anterwerpen/Venlo, Maastricht and passed though Belgium and Luxembourg city center, then entering into France's Metz, Nancy, Dijon. Beauno is a city after Dijon, which is an important city for famous Burgundy wines of France. We have a day visit here when we came back from
