ML - 3rd March to 23th, April 2010 (23 ~32C, Sunny) Kuching : Eduland (浮羅岸愛兒園)

After Chinese New Year, for a warm-up study of primary 1 for Syuan starting from the 1st, September of this year, Syuan and Ray go to the Padungan Eduland Kindergarten from 3rd, March to 23th, April, before we return to Taiwan.

The school has been established since 1960, she is celebrating her 50 years old birthday this year. Nearly 5 years old, I cried with my parents that I wanted to go to school. So, my father asked his friend, whose wife owned a kindergarten to take me and I started my first eduction here. I was pleased because I could sing, read simple "a, b, c,..", play the see-saw & slide in the play ground, eat biscuits and drink Milo that the school provided (though paid by the parents) with the other children in the morning.

Now a day, when my children went to the school in the morning, they were no food provided for the tea break but needed to bring by ourselves, no more playing in the playground during the tea break, less stories telling but most of the time spent on learning the words or writting in Chinese, English, Malay and Maths, in order to be ready for the primary school lessons. After school, they still have some writting lessons to be finished.

Especially for Syuan and Ray, they missed the lessons which started from January, they need more time to learn from the beginning. They joined the after school tuition class, so that they will have a bath, lunch, snap and tuition to finish their homeworks until 4pm.

Thank you for the teaching and caring of the teachers, their assistances & kakak (sisters in Malay) who take care of their learning and living during the kindergarten, more thanks to say to their aunties and uncle who drove them up and down to school, and bought their favoured food " Kolo mee"(a kind of dried noodle of Kuching), mini tomato (300mg for Eu$2, half imported from West Malaysia, Genting highland), ice kacang, etc.

Starting from the beginning of writting "-", "l" in Chinese, they can read & hand writting many single words to sentences now.

Apple in Kindergarten 2, she learns all in the sentenses.
白猫跑, 青蛙跳, 我會唱歌, 他愛跳舞, etc

keretapi, bus, motosikal, gunting, kertas, pensil, merah, kuning, biru, putih, hijau, hitam, etc in Malay

Ray in Kindergarten 1, he learned single words, such as:
a~ z in Malay: ayam, baju, cawan, durian, epal, foto, gajah, hujan, ikan, jam, kasut, lembu, mangga, nenas, otak, paku, qari, rumah, susu, tikus, ular, van, wau, x, y, z.

二, 人, 大,小, 天, 口, 耳, 田, 火, 水 , 汁, 木, 地, 花, 草, 樹, etc in simple Chinese

They have no LEGO to play with, so Ray loves to play with the clothes clips and make his creations, like a colourful fan, a man singing with the microphone, a clips ring for her sister, some guns and a horse for his Power Ranger, etc..
