After a lunch with pork porridge, we start our journey today to Cochem(科海姆), a city on the Mosel river (莫色耳河) which took us about 2 hours to arrive from Eindhoven.
It is an old town surrounded with hills at the both sides of Mosel river, grapes were planted on the hills and good Mosel wines were made because the Mosel and Rheins areas are one of the warmest parts of Germany. At the South of the city sited the Cochem castle with a high tower.
Along the Mosel river, there are a lot of old town like Koblenz, Cochem, Traben/Trarbach, Bernkastel/Kues, Rudesheim, etc which cruisers will help you to get a wonderful view of the cities and castles near the rivers. It may takes about 4 to 5 hours per trip. Not only the tourists use the meals on the cruisers, but also they dance or sing.
While we were hungry, we took our dinner at a hotel with restaurant near the river. Live music were playing, local wines and beers were serving. Most of the hotels were fully booked.
The German sausages

The owner of the hotel that we stayed has some grapes fields, they planted, collected the grapes and make them into wines. They invited us to plug the grapes at the end of September and we can see how they make them into wines. It will be a new experience for us and the children.
