Many cookings are new for YL and me as we always just eat or look how sis or mom cooked but we never do it ourselves, including frying the potatos which is very cheap as EU$1.49 (~~MYR 6) for 5kg/pack compare to the food that we took outside as minimum EU$4/ea. We cook them as rice, in soup, in porriage or fried. We haven't try to bake them in the oven or make them into potato soup. Will try next time.
Attached some lunch box photos that YL bought to office. Most of them were food that we cooked and ate in the previous night. His Dutch colleagues always said that they are the dinner which meant big meal that is hot as normally they just took cold sandwich with ham or cheese in the bread.
