From a local news paper - Groot Eindhoven, which sent to our house bi-weekly. We knew the news and activities that happened around us in Eindhoven. For example on 18th, Feb, they announced that they were varies places that will celebrate the Carnival. They listed out all the activities and the people who will perform on the days.
Every year a prince was assigned to hold the celebration of the Carnival in the city. Especially in Maastricht, the Mayer will take out his power for the prince during the three days celebration.
