The main entrance of the Great Lantern Concert in Hsinchu City. This concert is a pre-announcement of the World Expo Taiwan in Hsinchu which will officerly open by the end of this year.

There was few camps waiting outside of the stadium one day before the concert.

The tickets of the concert were given out free in front of the Hsinchu Municiple hall and Cultural Hall one week before the concerts. On last Friday and Saturday, 5000pcs tickets each were given out in half hours in these two places.

TW - 16th, Mar, 2012 (Fri, Sunny) Hsinchu: Rainbowkids Stories Mother Training Course for Beginner 彩虹愛家生命教育初階培訓

Finally, it is sunny today after the whole week of misty, cold 11 -15c and rainning days.

This is the second week I attend the Rainbow kids Stories's Mother Training course for the beginner on Friday morning.

Every Thursday, we will go to the primary 3 & 4 classes in Gao Feng Primary School to lead the pupils to play games and tell the stories arranged by Rainbow Family Life Education Association's (www.rainbowkids.org.tw) 彩虹愛家生命教育, which about "The Relationship in between I and Myself 人與己, People and I 人與人, the Environment and I 人與環境, the Life and I" 人與生命.

Last semester, the theme was "I and Myself", which discuss about how " To know myself", " To like myself", "To accept myself", "Brave and Confidence" which were very welcomed by the pupils and teachers of the school.

Meanwhile, this semester we are talking about "People and I".

To become a better story teller, to attract the attention of the pupils and to bring the pupils to a brighter aspect, more than 60 of us join the beginner training courses this Spring to learn and may be changed the opinion of ourselves. Most of them are volunteer mothers who comes from different primary schools in Hsinchu.

Currently, there are 3540 rainbow volunteers to enter 402 or 15.58% primary school in Taiwan. Totally, about 120 thousands of primary school pupils have taken this life education in 2011.

Luckily, I am the first and only mother to join the starting of this education in Gao Feng Primary School last semester which mainly hold by the rainbow mothers from Chu Lian primary school 竹蓮國小, our neighbor primary school. Thank you for their help to bring this useful education to Gao Feng.
